Job summary

Energy Transfer is seeking an Electrical Technician to perform maintenance and repairs on electrical equipment across pipeline facilities. While mainly self-directed, you will coordinate with other technicians and supervisors to ensure safe, reliable operation.

Requirements include an Associate's degree in electrical/electronics and Journeyman status, with PLCs, ladder logic and VFD knowledge. On-site work, outdoors in varying weather, and emergency call-out duties are involved.

Qualifications

• Associate's degree in electrical / electronics or equivalent including 2-5 years of pipeline electrical maintenance experience.
• Journeyman or Journeyman Class Electrician qualified to work on 13,200 volt and below, substation and switchgear equipment.
• Familiar with PLCs, ladder logic, VFDs and electrical control circuitry.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate work with other technicians and supervisors for repairs to electrical equipment.
• Inspect and oversee work of others, contract or Energy Transfer employees.
• Perform preventive maintenance, installation, overhaul and safety checks as required by regulations.
