Job summary

Kinder Morgan is seeking an entry-level Products (SE) Pipe Line Controller in Houston to operate pipeline segments from the Houston Control Center using a SCADA system. You will undergo comprehensive training including classroom, field trips, simulations, tests, and on-the-job training.

The role focuses on real-time scheduling, safe operations, monitoring for emergencies, documenting activities, and maintaining customer relations while supporting optimization and procedural updates.

Qualifications

• Must have COBRA certification or be able to complete assessment.
• Ability to perform basic arithmetic and interpret scales and tables.
• Proficient in MS Word, Excel and Outlook.
• Clear written and spoken English communication.

Responsibilities

• Real-time scheduling and delivery of petroleum products via pipeline.
• Safe operation of pipeline and related facilities.
• Monitor and respond to abnormal or emergency conditions.
• Maintain accurate documentation per policies.
• Support other teams and procedures updates.
