Enterprise Products is seeking Gas Pipeline Trainee Controllers for their Houston, Texas location. These professionals will be responsible for the safe and efficient remote operation of pipelines, tanks, and pumping equipment in the oil and gas industry.

The ideal candidates are detail-oriented, eager to learn, and able to work in a fast-paced environment. On-the-job training is provided, with a rotating 12-hour shift schedule after training, including weekends and holidays.

Qualifications

• Minimum of a high school diploma or GED equivalent, or AA/AS degree with relevant oil and gas experience, PTECH certificate, military, or on-the-job experience as a pipeline controller or board operator
• 2-3 years of chemical or oil and gas industry experience strongly preferred
• Basic computer skills including word processing, spreadsheets, and email
• Successful completion of all pre-employment screening requirements (background checks, DOT drug screen, aptitude assessments, interview)
• Ability to work a rotating 12-hour shift schedule, including weekends and holidays after training
• Ability to sit or stand at a console for 12-hour shifts
• Ability to visually distinguish multi-color panel alarms
• Must live or relocate within 1 hour of reporting location
• Must pass the COBRA (Console Operator Basic Requirements Assessment) aptitude test
