Job summary

Kinder Morgan is seeking entry-level candidates to become Products (SE) Pipe Line Controllers in Houston. You will operate pipeline segments from the Houston Control Center using a SCADA system to ensure safe, efficient delivery of petroleum products in the Southeast region.

Initial training includes classroom work, field trips, computer simulations, tests, and on‑the‑job console instruction, followed by assessments to verify readiness.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• 4 years work experience, or 2 years post high school education plus 2 years work experience, or 4 year degree.
• Must maintain professional demeanor, take direction, prioritize, and follow procedures.

Responsibilities

• Real-time scheduling and delivery of petroleum products through the pipeline system.
• Safe operation of pipeline and related facilities.
• Monitor and respond to abnormal/emergency conditions.
• Maximize system optimization.
• Monitor quality control.
• Product measurement and documentation compliance.
• Maintain positive customer relations.
• Forecast product movements and manage stock inventory.
