Job summary

EMC Mechanical Services in Richmond, VA is seeking a Pipe Fitter Foreman to lead field crews on commercial HVAC and plumbing projects. The Foreman will manage schedules, ensure safety, and drive on-time, on-spec installations across multiple jobsites.

Candidates need 5+ years in pipe fitting, hold a Journeyman license (Master’s preferred), have their own tools, and read blueprints. OSHA 30 and fluent English are required; long or irregular hours may be needed.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of verifiable experience in a commercial or industrial Pipe Fitting role.
• Journeyman license required; Master’s preferred.
• Own a personal set of trade tools.
• OSHA 30 certification required or willing to obtain.
• Ability to read and use blueprints.
• Fluent English verbal and written skills.
• Able to work irregular and extended hours.

Responsibilities

• Verify install schedules and daily/weekly site plans for on-site mechanics and helpers.
• Supervise mechanics and helpers, including arrival times, quality of work, and vehicle condition.
• Order materials based on specs, submittals, and takeoffs to ensure materials are on-site when needed.
• Responsible for installs per code/spec.
