Job summary

Atlantic Constructors, Inc. in Richmond, VA is seeking an experienced Commercial Pipe Foreman to lead and perform layout, fabrication, assembly, installation and testing of piping systems.

You will supervise field crews, direct pipefitters and apprentices, and coordinate daily activities with the Site Superintendent to meet project requirements and safety standards. Requirements include 8+ years of pipe fitting and prior foreman/leadership experience; strong ability to read drawings and P&IDs;

Qualifications

• 8+ years pipe fitting experience.
• Proven ability to manage and lead teams of 8–10 people.
• Ability to read drawings & P&IDs; use electronic drawings.

Responsibilities

• Supervise field crew, subcontractors and craft activities including method, manpower, materials, equipment and scheduling.
• Interpret sketches, blueprints and isometric drawings.
• Oversee layout, rigging and transportation of pipe, valves and fittings.
• Plan installation sequences to avoid obstructions and coordinate with other trades.
• Test piping systems for leaks and ensure compliance with codes and quality standards.
