Job summary

EMC Mechanical Services is seeking a Plumbing Foreman to lead the plumbing team on commercial/industrial jobs in the Richmond area. The role requires on-site leadership, ensuring timely schedules, quality workmanship, and adherence to codes.

Candidates should have a journeyman license and OSHA 30 certification or be willing to obtain it. The position offers full-time employment with a strong focus on safety, team coordination, and on-site productivity.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of verifiable experience in a commercial or industrial Plumbing role is required.
• High School diploma or GED is required.
• Journeyman license is required, Master’s is preferred.
• Completion of OSHA 30 certification, or willing to obtain upon hire.

Responsibilities

• Verify install schedules, as well as daily and weekly schedules for on-site mechanics and helpers.
• Supervise mechanics and helpers, including arrival time on the job, quality of work being completed, and company vehicle condition.
• Order materials based off of specs, submittals, and takeoff to ensure that the materials are on site when needed.
• Responsible for installs per code/spec.
