Job summary

Brown & Root Industrial Services is seeking a skilled Foreman/Journeyman Pipefitter to oversee piping installations and maintenance. Must read isometric drawings, determine pipe sizing, layout, and routing, and supervise a team to complete tasks safely and efficiently across steam, heating, cooling, and processing systems.

The role requires hands-on fitting, welding, cutting, bending, and testing of piping and supports, with strong emphasis on safety compliance and coordination with site

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent with prior field experience.
• Knowledge of concepts, practices, and procedures within the field.
• Relies on instructions and guidelines to perform tasks and reports to Site Manager.

Responsibilities

• Direct Foremen/Journeyman Pipefitters to ensure safe, timely completion of tasks.
• Read isometric drawings and plan piping layouts, installations, and maintenance.
• Select and prepare pipes, supports, and fittings per specifications.
• Cut, thread, bend, join, and secure piping systems and components.
• Install and test piping systems, refrigeration and AC piping, and related controls.
• Observe safety rules and assist with loading/unloading materials as needed.
