Job summary

Wyatt Field Service is seeking experienced pipefitters for an upcoming turnaround project at the Cenovus Refinery in Lima, Ohio. The assignment is temporary, running now through approximately late October/early November 2026, with 10-hour shifts, 13 days on and 1 day off, Monday through Sunday.

Read drawings, align piping, and coordinate with welders to ensure safe, quality work. Ideal candidates have refinery/industrial turnaround experience, a strong safety record, and the ability to work as

Qualifications

• Previous pipefitting experience in a refinery, petrochemical, industrial construction, or turnaround environment preferred.
• Ability to read and interpret piping drawings and isometrics.
• Knowledge of pipe, fittings, valves, supports, and proper installation methods.
• Strong commitment to safety and quality workmanship.
• Reliable attendance and punctuality essential.

Responsibilities

• Install, assemble, align, and maintain piping systems according to drawings, specifications, and safety requirements.
• Measure, cut, bevel, and prepare pipe for installation and welding.
• Install pipe, fittings, valves, supports, and related components.
• Read and interpret piping drawings, isometrics, and specifications.
• Verify pipe elevations, dimensions, alignment, and fit-up.
• Prepare pipe joints and coordinate with welders to ensure proper fit-up before welding.
• Assist with pressure, leak, and other required testing of piping systems.
• Inspect piping components and completed work for proper installation and alignment.
• Follow all refinery, project, and company safety policies and procedures.
• Perform other duties as assigned to support the turnaround project.
