Job summary

Wyatt Field Service is seeking experienced pipe welders for a turnaround project at the Cenovus Refinery in Lima, OH. The role runs now through late Oct/early Nov 2026 on a 10-hour shift schedule (13 on, 1 off) with site safety training and weld tests required.

Responsibilities include welding pipe components, verifying specs, reading drawings, and coordinating with fitters to ensure quality and on-time completion.

Qualifications

• Previous pipe welding experience in refinery/industrial settings.
• Ability to follow Welding Procedure Specifications and drawings.
• Proficiency with welding equipment and safety protocols.

Responsibilities

• Weld pipe and piping components per procedures.
• Verify materials, specifications, and joint prep.
• Fit and align pipe joints for welding.
• Set up and operate welding equipment safely.
• Complete root, fill, and cap weld passes per procedures.
• Read WPS, drawings, and project requirements.
• Inspect welds and identify quality concerns.
• Maintain permits and follow safety rules.
• Coordinate with pipefitters and craft personnel.
• Perform other duties to support turnaround.
