Job summary

Environmental Air Systems in Rural Hall, NC is seeking skilled Pipefitters to join our manufacturing shop. You will install industrial piping systems including chilled water, hot water, steam, condensate, and condensate water, and read blueprints and submittals.

Fabricate pipe supports, spool copper lines, and read submittals. You will work independently and as part of a team, supervise plumbing helpers, and adhere to all safety procedures while maintaining quality workmanship.

Qualifications

• Reading and speaking proficiency in either English or Spanish required.
• Minimum of a high school education or equivalent.
• Rigging knowledge preferred.
• 5 years pipefitter experience preferred.
• Knowledge of pipefitter equipment, power tools, and fabrication methods.
• Knowledge of different types of pipe, valves, fittings, and their functions.
• General knowledge of code requirements and limitations.
• Knowledge of occupational hazards, including ladders.

Responsibilities

• Install industrial piping systems: chilled water, hot water, steam, condensate, and condensate water.
• Read blueprints and submittals.
• Fabricate pipe supports and spool copper lines.
• Work independently and problem solve.
• Repair, cap, and test all types of plumbing piping.
• Instruct plumbing helpers under your supervision.
• Practice all EAS safety procedures.
