Job summary

Environmental Air Systems in Rural Hall, NC is seeking skilled Pipe Welders to join our manufacturing shop. You will weld carbon steel, follow safety procedures, and read blueprints to meet product specifications.

Ideal candidates have at least five years of pipe welding experience, SMAW proficiency (MIG/TIG preferred), and the ability to pass ASME Sec IX tests for Carbon Steel Schedule 40. Competitive benefits include weekly pay and health insurance.

Qualifications

• Reading and speaking proficiency in either English or Spanish.
• Minimum five years of pipe welding experience.
• Experience in welding, manufacturing, or related fields.
• Proficiency in SMAW; MIG & TIG preferred.
• Familiarity with welding tools, equipment, and procedures.
• Ability to pass certifications tests on Carbon Steel Schedule 40 Pipe, open root joint, and 6G fixed position; ASME Sec IX is required.

Responsibilities

• Weld in various positions according to safety-oriented procedures.
• Perform 100% weld quality in all positions.
• Manufacture and fabricate finished metal products.
• Install and repair piping and components.
• Follow blueprints to meet product specifications.
• Calculate material measurements to verify specifications.
• Conduct tests to evaluate weld quality and tolerance.
