Job summary

Environmental Air Systems, LLC is seeking skilled Pipefitters to join our manufacturing shop in High Point, North Carolina. Candidates must have proficiency in English or Spanish, and ideally have 5 years of pipefitting experience. Responsibilities include installing industrial piping systems and supervising plumbing helpers.

Qualifications

• Reading and speaking proficiency in either English or Spanish required.
• Minimum of a high school education or equivalent.
• Rigging knowledge preferred.
• 5 years pipefitter experience preferred.
• Knowledge of pipefitter equipment, power tools, and fabrication methods.
• Knowledge of different types of pipe, valves, fittings, and their functions.
• General knowledge of code requirements and limitations.
• Knowledge of occupational hazards, including ladders.

Responsibilities

• Install industrial piping systems: chilled water, hot water, steam, condensate, and condensed water.
• Read blueprints and submittals.
• Fabricate pipe supports and spool copper lines.
• Work independently and problem solve.
• Repair, cap, and test all types of plumbing piping.
• Instruct plumbing helpers under your supervision.
• Practice all EAS safety procedures.
• Hold license to operate equipment necessary for the role.

• Schedule: 6:00am-4:30pm with OT as necessary
• Location: High Point, NC
