Job summary

Environmental Air Systems, Inc. is hiring skilled Pipefitters for our Rural Hall manufacturing shop. The role involves installing piping systems (chilled water, hot water, steam), reading blueprints, fabricating supports, and mentoring helpers.

You will work both independently and with the team, following strict safety procedures. Requirements include a high school diploma, 5 years pipefitting experience preferred, and proficiency in English or Spanish.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• 5 years pipefitter experience preferred.
• Reading and speaking proficiency in English or Spanish.
• Knowledge of pipefitter equipment, power tools, and fabrication methods.
• Knowledge of different pipe types, valves, fittings and their functions.
• Understanding of code requirements and safety hazards.

Responsibilities

• Install industrial piping systems: chilled water, hot water, steam, condensate, and condensate water.
• Read blueprints and submittals.
• Fabricate pipe supports and spool copper lines.
• Work independently and problem solve.
• Repair, cap, and test all types of plumbing piping.
• Instruct plumbing helpers under supervision.
• Practice all EAS safety procedures.
