WeldFit seeks a Pipefitter to perform fit up and assembly of pipe spools and assorted diameter pipe fittings in accordance with contract drawings.

The role requires a High School Diploma or equivalent and at least 3 years of related experience, with strong English communication and blueprint-reading abilities. Candidates must adhere to strict safety and quality standards while maintaining efficient production.

Responsibilities

• Fit up and assembly of pipe spools and assorted diameter pipe fittings as shown on drawings.
• Prepare and set up appropriate tools and equipment needed to fit up assemblies.
• Maintain and store custom fit up gears (shims, clamps, pull/push bars, etc.).
• Maintain good housekeeping in the work area.
• Care for welding equipment and turning rolls.
• Double check parts or components to be assembled.
• Check completed work prior to final welding for drawings and procedures conformity.
• Communicate with the welding lead regarding safety, productivity, and quality.
• Aim for high production with quality output while focusing on safety at all times.
