Job summary

Temp-Con, Inc. is seeking an experienced Pipefitter to assemble, fit, and fabricate piping systems in a shop setting for construction projects.

You will read blueprints, measure cut lengths, and lay out piping assemblies, coordinating with welders to ensure proper alignment and welding readiness. The role requires 2+ years of pipefitting, knowledge of carbon and stainless piping materials, and the ability to pass an MIG positioner rollout certification on a 2" sch80 weld; OSHA 10 certification

Qualifications

• 2+ years pipefitting experience in fabrication or construction.
• Read and interpret blueprints, isometric drawings, and specifications.
• Knowledge of carbon steel and stainless steel piping materials.
• Able to lift up to 50 lbs and perform shop tasks.
• Pass MIG positioner rollout certification on 2" sch80 weld test.

Responsibilities

• Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and specs for piping systems.
• Measure and verify pipe cut lengths per blueprints.
• Perform layout and fit-up of piping assemblies in the shop.
• Work with welders to position and secure pipes for welding.
• Conduct quality checks on fabricated piping assemblies for accuracy and compliance.
• Operate hand tools, power tools, cutting torches, and pipe fabrication machinery.
• Assist with material handling and shop inventory management.
• Maintain safe, clean working conditions per policies and OSHA guidelines.
