Job summary

Core Industrial Maintenance is seeking an experienced Pipefitter to join our skilled trades team. You will read plans, lay out, fabricate, install and repair industrial piping systems and pipe supports. The role requires travel to customer sites and working in varied environments.

Qualified candidates have a High School Diploma or equivalent and a minimum of 3 years of pipefitting experience in an industrial setting, with knowledge of standard industry practices.

Qualifications

• Read and understand plans and documentation to determine scope, locations, quantities and sizes.
• Layout, fabricate, and install pipe spools from spool sheets.
• Flame cut pipe to length and bevel, clean and prepare pipe for fit-up.
• Performs layout, rigging and transportation of pipe, valves and fittings.
• Threads pipe using threading machine.
• Bends pipe by hand or with pipe-bending tools and machines.
• Hoist equipment and tools into location via bull rigging or crane.
• Loads, transports and unloads material, tools, equipment and supplies.

This position will require the Pipefitter to work in a variety of environments and frequent travel to customer sites.
