Job summary

Clark Construction Group, LLC is actively seeking skilled pipefitters to join our field teams in the United States. You will be responsible for selecting pipe materials, planning installation sequences, and installing a wide range of piping systems.

The role requires experience with pipe cutting, threading, grooving, and securing piping in commercial and infrastructure projects. A strong safety mindset and ability to read drawings are essential.

Qualifications

• Attention to detail with safety focus.
• Ability to receive and follow instructions and communicate with co-workers.
• Ability to read labels, safety warnings, and guidelines.
• Ability to read drawings including pipe shop drawings, mechanical drawings, and P&IDs.
• Excellent physical fitness with the ability to lift heavy objects.
• Good communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Selects type and size of pipe and related materials and equipment per job specs.
• Assist foreman in planning the sequence of installation to avoid obstructions and other workers.
• Cut pipe using pipe cutter, pipe saw, power tools (band saw), and pipe cutting machines.
• Thread pipe using threading machine.
• Knowledge in safe operation of Victaulic roll grooving and cut groove operations.
• Mount pipe hangers and brackets on walls and ceilings to hold pipe.
• Assemble and install pipes and fittings using various joints and hand tools.
• Secure pipes to structures with brackets, clamps, and hangers.
• Test piping systems for leaks by pressurizing and observing gauges.
• Follow safety and project rules and company policies.
• Work around heavy machinery including cranes and rig loads as required.
• Set and align process equipment like pumps and blowers.
• Conduct field layout of piping systems and calculate offsets and fittings.
• Perform other duties as required.
