Job summary

Clark Construction is seeking a skilled trades professional to install piping systems on active sites, adhering to Clark Standards of Excellence. The role requires reading drawings, P&ID references, and following safety guidelines to protect yourself and coworkers.

You will measure, cut, thread, and assemble pipes, mount hangers, and work around heavy equipment. The position is physically demanding and requires stamina, teamwork, and strict adherence to PPE rules and site safety policies.

Qualifications

• Ability to read shop drawings, piping layouts, and P&ID references.
• Strong physical fitness and ability to lift heavy objects.

Responsibilities

• Selects type and size of pipe and related materials and equipment according to job specifications.
• Assists foreman in planning the sequence of installation to avoid obstructions and activities of other workers.
• Cements and threads pipe using appropriate tools and equipment.
• Mounts pipe hangers and brackets on walls and ceilings to hold pipe.
• Assembles and installs pipes and fittings with threaded, soldered, brazed, fused, or cemented joints.
• Conducts testing for leaks and ensures safe operation around heavy machinery.
