Brown & Root Industrial Services is seeking a skilled pipefitter for long-term maintenance work in Texas. The role requires reading instructions, laying out and fabricating piping systems, and installing fixtures for steam, hot water, and process systems.

You will work on-site, follow safety rules, and collaborate with a team to complete installations and tests. Applicants should have 3+ years of field experience and be comfortable using pipe cutters, threading machines, and welding equipment.

Formación

• Minimum 3 years documented field experience in piping/maintenance.
• Ability to read and interpret instructions and document work.
• Experience laying out, fabricating, assembling, installing and maintaining piping systems and related equipment.
• Knowledge of safety standards and project rules.

Responsabilidades

• Selects pipe type and size per job specifications.
• Inspects site for obstructions and plans installation sequence.
• Cuts, threads, and bends pipe using appropriate tools.
• Installs and secures pipe hangers, brackets, and supports.
• Assembles and installs pipes and fittings with suitable joints.
• Tests for leaks and verify with gauges.
• Welds pipe supports to structural steel.
• Performs general maintenance and observes safety rules.
• May assist in lifting and handling materials.
