Brown & Root Industrial Services is seeking a Journeyman Pipefitter with 3+ years of field experience. You will read and interpret instructions, lay out and install piping systems, and perform fabricating and testing to ensure leak-free operation.

Responsibilities include selecting materials, planning installations, cutting and threading pipes, mounting supports, and verifying system integrity while adhering to safety rules and project guidelines.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent with experience in the field.
• Ability to read and interpret instructions and drawings.
• Plan work and select proper tools.
• Apply basic shop mathematics to solve problems.
• Work at heights and handle heavy materials safely.
• Follow safety and project rules.

Responsabilités

• Select pipe type and size per job specs.
• Inspect worksite for obstructions.
• Plan sequence to avoid conflicts with other workers.
• Cut, thread, and bend pipes using appropriate tools.
• Mount pipe hangers and brackets.
• Test piping systems for leaks.
