MasTec's Clean Energy & Infrastructure division is hiring a Pipefitter Helper IV in Rapid City, SD. You will support journeymen in planning, laying out, installing, testing, and repairing various piping systems on industrial projects, with emphasis on safety and quality.

Responsibilities include reading plans, using measuring tools, and working with pipe and fittings. The role requires 3-4 years of related experience and the ability to work up to 50 hours per week, including overtime.

Qualifications

• 3-4 years of related experience or training in construction fields.
• High School Diploma or GED (preferred).
• Experience as a helper or laborer in construction crafts; basic craft knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Read and interpret measuring tools to perform tasks accurately.
• Understand Plant North and drawing coordinates.
• Thread, bevel, and cut pipe as needed.
• Install and fit pipe using hand and power tools; knowledge of pipe systems.
• Assist with valves, couplings, and fittings; replace damaged pipe.
