Job summary

Black & Veatch is seeking a Pipefitter supervisor responsible for directing and supervising the planning, lay-out, installation, testing and repair of piping systems in accordance with plans, specs, codes and industry standards.

You will lead the crew, ensure safety, and coordinate with project supervision to keep the work on schedule and within budget. A strong focus on safety and quality is required.

Qualifications

• Minimum 4 years experience as a Pipefitter or equivalent craft.
• Certifications: NCCER Pipefitting, NCCER Rigger, NCCER Project Supervision, NCCER Project Management.
• Must be able to lead and supervise a crew safely and effectively.

Responsibilities

• Direct and supervise planning, lay-out, installation, testing and repair of piping systems.
• Lead the lead men and craft workers to complete work safely, correctly and efficiently.
• Coordinate with project supervision to develop weekly crew goals and schedules.
