Job summary

Black & Veatch Family of Companies is seeking a Field Supervisor to interface with supervision and craft employees, monitor performance, and ensure safety, quality, schedule, and contractual commitments on a travel-required project.

You will provide technical direction to craft supervision, coordinate with subcontractors, manage look-ahead schedules, and support continuous improvement while upholding safety standards on site.

Qualifications

• 5+ years experience of construction field leadership on equivalent projects.
• OSHA 10 Certification.
• Ability to travel to project sites as required.

Responsibilities

• Monitors CPM schedule compliance and reports on simple cycle project activities.
• Assists craft/subcontractors in resolving issues related to drawings, schedule, quality, quantity, and safety.
• Monitors discipline construction productivity, progress, and cost; reports to Construction Manager.
• Conducts foreman/subcontractor meetings to review daily, weekly, and monthly planning.
• Develops and monitors 3 Week Look Ahead Schedule for assigned work scope.
• Develops corrective plans to ensure progress and productivity targets are met.
• Verifies that materials, manpower, and resources are available for the 3 Week Look Ahead Schedule.
