Job summary

Sundt Construction seeks an experienced pipefitting foreman to lead planning, layout, and performance of diverse pipe fitting tasks in accordance with plans, codes, and standards. You will coordinate crafts, provide resources, and ensure safe, efficient work while aligning with the project schedule.

The role requires strong leadership, deep understanding of drawings (orthographic, isometric, P&IDs), and excellent communication.

Qualifications

Minimum four years of experience in pipefitting with deep knowledge of drawings and safety/quality standards.
Must lead, motivate, and set excellence standards for crew.
Effective verbal and written communication required.

Responsibilities

Lead planning, layout, and performance of pipe fitting work per plans and standards.
Coordinate craft efforts and provide resources for safe, efficient work.
Maintain flow of work and schedule with other foremen/crews.
Maintain positive relationships with crews and ensure safety and quality.
Attend safety, quality, production, and planning meetings.
Conduct crew evaluations and performance tracking.
Promote continuous improvement culture across the crew.
Ensure accurate time sheets, quantities, and productivity reports.
Develop weekly and daily work plans; understand the critical path.
Set weekly production goals and deliver on time and within budget.
Adhere to company policies and Sundt Way.
Provide coaching and mentorship to crew members.
