Job summary

Batchelor & Kimball is seeking a skilled piping installer to plan, lay out, install, test, and repair piping systems in line with project plans, specifications, and codes. You will work on site with a team to ensure safe and efficient execution from fabrication through commissioning.

The ideal candidate has strong experience in construction piping, attention to detail, and the ability to read isometric drawings and use layout tools.

Qualifications

• Will require a high school diploma or its equivalent with previous years of experience in the field or in a related area.
• Proficient in safe and efficient use of electrical, hand tools, power tools and layout tools.

Responsibilities

• Reading isometric drawings, taking measurements, fabricating and installing piping efficiently.
• Assemble and secure pipes, tubes, fittings, and related equipment according to specifications by welding and threading joints.
• Hydro test piping systems.
