Job summary

Dubak Electrical Group is seeking an experienced Pipefitter to install, assemble, and repair industrial piping systems in field environments. You will read blueprints, piping isometrics, P&IDs, and project specs to accurately lay out and install piping per codes and safety standards.

The ideal candidate has 2+ years in industrial piping, strong fabrication and field installation skills, and welding experience is a plus but not primary. Travel to local and national projects may be required.

Qualifications

• Technical training in pipefitting or equivalent apprenticeship.
• High school or equivalent completion required.
• Minimum 2 years of pipefitter experience in industrial/commercial setting.
• Ability to read piping isometrics, blueprints, and P&IDs.

Responsibilities

• Install, assemble, maintain, modify, and repair industrial piping systems.
• Read blueprints, isometrics, P&IDs, and project specs.
• Perform pipe layout, measurements, and field calculations.
• Cut, bevel, thread, groove, fit, and prepare pipe and components.
• Fabricate and assemble piping spools, fittings, flanges, and valves.
• Install and align piping systems and equipment connections.
• Identify material types, sizes, and installation requirements.
• Install hangers, supports, and maintain elevations and alignment.
• Travel to local and national projects; perform welding as needed.
• Follow safety procedures and wear PPE; report damaged tools.
