Job summary

Turner Industries is seeking a Pipe Welder for a turnaround project in Kingsport, TN. The welder will lay out, fit, and weld carbon steel and stainless components to assemble tanks, vessels, pipes and related structures, following detailed procedures.

Qualified candidates must have a high school diploma or equivalent, at least four years of welding experience, a welder certification, and the ability to pass a weld test.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Minimum four years of welding experience.
• Must pass a weld test and be certified as a welder.
• Post-offer drug/alcohol screen and physical evaluation required.
• Adherence to safety requirements and company policies is essential.

Responsibilities

• Lay out, fit, and weld components to assemble structures and piping.
• Follow procedures and work instructions; read blueprints and specifications.
• Operate and set up welding equipment (arc, GTAW, GMAW) as required.
• Ensure quality workmanship and compliance with safety standards.
• Perform additional assignments as directed by supervision.
