Job summary

Turner Industries is seeking an Ironworker Foreman for a turnaround position in Kingsport, TN. The Foreman will supervise a crew, plan and coordinate multiple tasks, and ensure safety and quality on site.

Essential leadership, prior Journeyman experience, and a safety-focused approach are required; NCCER Crew Leader Certification is preferred. Final compensation is based on qualifications and experience.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Minimum two years of experience as a Mechanic A/Journeyman.
• Ability to lead others in the same craft.
• NCCER Crew Leader Certification preferred.
• Written pre-employment qualification test.
• Post-offer drug/alcohol screen and physical evaluation.
• Safety requirements and PPE adherence as specified by the client.

Responsibilities

• Upholds company safety guidelines to all employees under his/her direction and interprets orders.
• Assigns duties, lines up and follows up all work and coordinates multiple tasks.
• Supervises and coordinates activities of assigned construction workers and enforces policies.
