Zusammenfassung

Chart-Industries in Theodore, AL is seeking skilled welders to join our fabrication team. The role involves welding piping and structural components, reading blueprints, and setting up welding equipment. Candidates should have a pipe welding certification and 2+ years of related experience, with the ability to work overtime as needed.

Qualifikationen

Pipe welding certification is required.
Ability to perform welding on various materials at different positions using GTAW, SMAW, FCAW, GMAW and SAW.
High school diploma or equivalent.
At least 2 years of related experience.
Basic math skills.
Overtime and weekend hours, as needed.
Experience using blueprints and design sketches.
Certification in Pipe welding.

Aufgaben

Welds on piping and structural components per drawings and specifications.
Reads and interprets blueprints and shop orders to determine setup and sequence of operation.
Set up, troubleshoot, and operate welding machines per job specs.
Ensure items pass quality control tests and maintain safe work environment.
Adhere to ISO standards and perform required safety procedures.
Perform other duties as assigned.
