Job summary

The Systems Group is seeking a Stick Pipe Welder for the SDI Shutdown – Sinton, TX site. The role offers $32/hour with a $120/day per diem and a 4/12 shift pattern for a 5-day duration. Join a team focused on engineered solutions for a safer, more productive steel industry.

Responsibilities include layout, welding to blueprints, and securing piping components. OSHA-compliant gear and safety are emphasized, with opportunities for training and advancement.

Qualifications

• Industrial pipe welding experience preferred.
• Must be able to weld and pass pre-employment test coupons.
• Willing to work 4/12’s for 5 days.

Responsibilities

• Lay out, position, align, and secure parts and assemblies.
• Weld components such as piping systems, plates, pipes, and tubes as specified by diagrams or instructions.
• Plan installations to avoid obstructions and minimize disruption to others.
• Secure pipes to structures using brackets, clamps, and hangers.
• Weld in flat, horizontal, vertical, or overhead positions.
