Pipe Welders are needed by Aerotek for a contract position in Houston, Texas. This role offers the opportunity to work on commercial and naval projects, performing advanced welding in challenging environments. The ideal candidate will have significant experience with SMAW and GTAW processes and thrive in physically demanding settings.

What You'll Need

• Five years of commercial or naval experience as a first-class Pipe Welder
• Proficiency in multi-pass, all position fillet and butt welds using the SMAW process
• Ability to fuse inserts and weld carbon steel, stainless steel, and copper nickel pipe using SMAW and GTAW processes
• Mirror welding skills using SMAW and GTAW processes
• Experience in physically demanding environments
• Familiarity with OSHA regulations related to the shipbuilding industry
• Competency in using fillet gauges, butt gauges, and a six-inch scale
• Must be a US Citizen
