Job summary

Bechtel is building a semiconductor manufacturing plant in New Albany, OH. You will lead a team of craft professionals, supervise superintendents, and coordinate subcontract work to ensure safe, on-time project execution and adherence to budget and specifications.

The role requires a bachelor’s degree (or international equivalent) with 8–10 years of experience, or 12–14 years without a degree. Strong knowledge of piping operations and OSHA standards is essential.

Qualifications

• Requires bachelor's degree (or international equivalent) and 8-10 years of relevant experience or 12-14 years of relevant work experience in lieu of a degree.
• Extensive working knowledge of construction planning, monitoring and control.
• Familiar with construction tools and equipment as well as their uses.
• Extensive technical knowledge and experience in piping operations; coordinate with all stakeholders for safe execution.
• Proficient in Microsoft suite for word processing, spreadsheets and databases.
• Experience managing union craft heavy industrial US direct hire construction experience.
• Knowledge of OSHA requirements and Bechtel's Zero Accidents program.

Responsibilities

• Lead a team and supervise superintendents and/or craft professionals on a project.
• Direct craft activities and work schedules; coordinate subcontract work and team development.
• Ensure tools and resources are available; enforce project policies, procedures and safety rules.
• Maintain cost, schedule and labor optimization; oversee 90-day and 3-week look ahead schedules.
• Interface with Labor/Industrial Relations for recruitment and training programs.
• Review craft time records; monitor installation against drawings and specs.
