HK Contractors in Idaho Falls, ID seeks an Experienced Pipe Layer to safely perform a range of construction duties supporting highway, utility, and plant crews. The role involves manual tasks with supervision and travel to multiple sites, ensuring safety and efficiency on every job.

Qualifications include a high school diploma or GED and a valid driver’s license; prior excavation or water/sewer/storm drain experience is a plus. We value reliability and teamwork.

Qualifications

• Valid driver's license required.
• Experience in excavation or construction is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Operate equipment safely and efficiently within its designed parameters.
• Locate utilities and buried lines prior to digging.
• Shovel earth and prepare ground trenches for pipes.
• May dig existing ground pipes with manual tools as needed.
• Assist with lining up and placing pipes and assembling joints.
• Set up and move laser level and pipe lasers; keep site clean.
• Travel to different locations and support other crew members.
