Responsibilities
Align and position pipes for welding or sealing.
Check slopes for conformance using levels or lasers.
Connect pipe pieces and seal joints using welding equipment.
Cover pipes with earth or other materials.
Cut pipes to required lengths.
Dig trenches to required depths by hand or using tools.
Grade and level trench bases using tamping machines.
Install and repair water and sewer structures and pipe systems.
Lay out pipe routes according to blueprints.
Work safely and prevent unsafe actions.
Perform other duties as directed by supervisor.
