Job summary

The Walsh Group is seeking a Pipe Layer for the Tempe JGMWTP project in Tempe, Arizona. You will lay, join, align, wrap and seal pipe sections for water mains, sewers, and conduits, working with a crew on commercial or heavy civil sites.

Qualifications

• 1 year of verifiable construction experience preferred.
• Able to lift up to 50 lbs and work in varying weather.
• Must follow all safety policies and procedures.
• Good communication with coworkers and supervision.
• Strong work ethic and eagerness to learn.
• Good manual dexterity; standing, bending, kneeling or sitting long periods.
• Must pass pre-employment drug screening.

Responsibilities

• Lays, joins, aligns, wraps, and seals pipe sections for water/gas mains and sewers.
• Operate hand and power tools as directed and assist crew.
• Perform physical labor as instructed by supervisor.
