The Walsh Group is hiring a Pipe Layer in Mansfield, TX for the Central Water Group/Bud Ervin WTP Phase V Expansion Package #3. The role involves laying, joining, aligning, wrapping and sealing pipe sections on water/gas mains and sanitary sewer projects.

You may operate hand and power tools and perform general physical labor as directed by supervision. The position requires the ability to work with a crew on commercial, industrial, or heavy civil sites and to comply with all safety policies.

Qualificações

• 1 year verifiable construction experience preferred.
• Must be able to climb and balance on scaffold/ladder.
• Lift up to 50 lbs and work in adverse weather.
• Comply with all safety policies and procedures; communicate effectively with crew.
• Strong work ethic and willingness to learn.
• Good manual dexterity; may be standing, bending, kneeling or sitting for long periods.
• Must pass pre-employment drug screening.

Responsabilidades

• Lays, joins, aligns, wraps, and seals pipe sections for water/gas mains, sanitary sewer, or conduits.
• Operate a variety of hand and power tools as directed by management.
• Perform physical labor as instructed by supervisor.
