The Walsh Group in Arizona is seeking a Pipe Layer for the Water Mountain West/Apache Junction District Project in Apache Junction. The Pipe Layer will operate hand and power tools, perform physical labor as directed, and contribute to a safe and efficient worksite.

Qualifications

• 1 year verifiable construction experience preferred
• Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs and work in varying weather conditions
• Must comply with all safety policies and procedures; communicate effectively with crew and supervisors
• Possess a strong work ethic and willingness to learn
• Requires good manual dexterity; may be standing, bending, kneeling or sitting for long periods
• Must pass a pre-employment drug screen

Responsibilities

• Lays, joins, aligns, wraps, and seals pipe sections for water/gas main, sanitary sewer, and conduits
• Operate a variety of hand and power tools as directed by management
• Perform physical labor as instructed by supervisor
