Edgewood Properties is seeking a Pipe Laborer for its Excavation Department at the South Plainfield, NJ office. This role involves preparing sites, loading and carrying materials, and following Foreman instructions to support ongoing construction projects.

The position requires physical stamina, ability to lift up to 75 pounds, and reliability. English fluency is essential, with Spanish a plus; safety and teamwork are emphasized across all tasks.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Ability to lift up to 75 pounds.
• Comfortable working in extreme weather.
• Reliable transportation to job sites.

Responsibilities

• Unload tools and materials, prepare site materials, stack materials, and set up equipment.
• Carry out physical labor at multiple construction projects.
• Follow project instructions from Foreman or Supervisor.
• Take measurements from plans and perform calculations as needed.
• Direct traffic safely around construction sites.
• Operate hand and power tools such as pressure washers, jackhammers, drills, saws, grinders, chainsaws.
• Follow health and safety regulations when operating equipment.
