Job summary

Cardinal Civil Contracting Triad is seeking an experienced Pipe Foreman to lead a crew on underground utility projects in the Carolinas. The role prioritizes safety, productivity, and precise grade and alignment for water, sewer, and storm systems.

The Foreman will interpret blueprints, operate heavy equipment, and oversee a 6–7 person crew, coordinating with project superintendents to ensure quality work and on-time completion.

Qualifications

• 2–5+ years in water, sewer, and storm installations.
• Ability to read construction drawings and calculate grades.
• Experience leading a crew of 4–7 workers.
• Valid driver’s license with clean record.
• OSHA 10 or OSHA 30 certification is a plus.
• Bi-lingual (English/Spanish) a plus but not required.

Responsibilities

• Lead a crew of 6–7 workers on pipe installation projects.
• Study blueprints and project layouts to determine methods.
• Operate excavators to dig trenches and backfill after installation.
• Set grades and slopes using lasers and levels.
• Inspect completed work for quality and safety compliance.
• Coordinate with superintendents and ensure daily productivity.
