Job summary

Loenbro is seeking a Pipe Fitter to join our fabrication team at the Riggs Fabrication Facility. You will handle shop layout, fabrication and fit-up of carbon steel pipe spools for industrial and construction projects.

Responsibilities include reading drawings, laying out and fitting pipe, assembling systems, and ensuring quality before welding. Must have 3+ years in pipe fitting, ability to lift 50 lbs, and experience with carbon steel piping.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of industrial pipe fitting experience.
• Read and interpret piping drawings, blueprints, and specifications.
• Experience with carbon steel piping.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and work in a fabrication shop.

Responsibilities

• Read and interpret isometric drawings, blueprints, spool sheets, and piping specifications.
• Layout, measure, cut, bevel, and fit pipe for welding and fabrication.
• Assemble piping systems and components according to project specifications and tolerances.
• Verify dimensions, alignments, and fit-up quality prior to welding.
• Operate hand tools, power tools, cutting equipment, grinders, and beveling machines safely.
• Assist with rigging, material handling, and movement of pipe and fabricated assemblies.
• Inspect materials and completed assemblies.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area.
• Comply with all safety policies, procedures, and quality standards.

Position Summary
