Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Read and interpret isometric drawings, blueprints, spool sheets, and piping specifications.
• Lay out, measure, cut, bevel, and fit pipe for welding and fabrication.
• Assemble piping systems and components according to project specifications and tolerances.
• Verify dimensions, alignments, and fit-up quality prior to welding.
• Operate hand tools, power tools, cutting equipment, grinders, and beveling machines safely.
• Assist with rigging, material handling, and movement of pipe and fabricated assemblies.
• Inspect materials and completed assemblies.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area.
• Comply with all safety policies, procedures, and quality standards.

The Pipe Fitter is responsible for the shop layout, fabrication and fit-up of carbon steel pipe spools used in industrial and construction projects.
