Job summary

Loenbro is seeking a Pipe Welder for the Riggs Fabrication Facility to fit and weld carbon steel, stainless steel, and alloy piping used in industrial projects. You will read drawings, interpret isometrics, and produce high-quality welds that meet codes and customer specs.

Expect FCAW and GMAW work, fabrication of carbon steel pipe, and strict adherence to safety. The role requires 3+ years of industrial pipe welding experience, the ability to pass Loenbro welding tests, and knowledge of weld

Qualifications

  • 3+ years of industrial pipe welding experience preferred.
  • Ability to pass a Loenbro welding test and applicable project weld qualifications.
  • 2G,3G GMAW/FCAW minimum requirements; 6G preferred
  • 6G GTAW/SMAW helpful, not required
  • Strong understanding of weld symbols and fabrication drawings.
  • Knowledge of pipe fabrication, fit-up tolerances, and welding procedures.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and work in a fabrication shop environment.
  • Reliable attendance and commitment to quality workmanship.

Responsibilities

  • Fabricate and weld carbon steel process piping.
  • Inspect materials and completed welds for quality and conformance to specifications.
  • Operate grinders, torches, beveling equipment, and other fabrication tools safely.
  • Maintain a clean and organized work area.
  • Comply with all safety policies, procedures, and quality standards.

Position Summary:

The Pipe Welder is responsible for fitting and welding carbon steel, stainless steel, and alloy piping systems used in industrial and construction projects. This position requires the ability to work safely, read and interpret drawings, and produce high-quality welds that meet applicable codes, specifications, and customer requirements.

Preferred Qualifications:
  • Previous experience in industrial, power, semiconductor, mining, or manufacturing environments.
  • Current welding certifications or documented weld qualifications.
  • Forklift, aerial lift, or rigging experience
