Qualifications

• 4 years of journeyman-level experience in pipe fabrication.
• NCCER certification, valid driver\u2019s license and TWIC card.
• No minimum education requirements.
• Ability to read blueprints and interpret product specifications.

Responsibilities

• Cut, thread, and hammer pipe to specifications using pipe threaders and benders.
• Lay out full scale drawings following blueprints.
• Attach pipes to walls, structures and fixtures using brackets, clamps, tools or welding equipment.
• Inspect work sites for obstructions and to ensure structural integrity.
• Operate motorized pumps to remove water from flooded areas.
• Install automatic controls used to regulate pipe systems.
• Modify, clean, and maintain pipe systems and related equipment.
