Job summary

Idaho Materials & Construction, a CRH company, is seeking a construction supervisor to oversee day-to-day crew activities for digging and laying pipe systems. You will read blueprints, schedule tasks, coordinate materials and equipment, and ensure safety compliance on site.

The ideal candidate has experience with underground utilities installation, leadership skills, and the ability to travel to project sites as needed. A valid US work authorization is required.

Qualifications

• Experience with underground wet utilities installation.
• Knowledge of underground utility installation practices.
• Valid driver's license.
• Ability to read blueprints, site specifications, simple instructions, and memos; write simple correspondence.
• Basic math and measurement skills.
• Safety-minded with good attendance and punctuality.
• Must have work authorization in the United States; ability to travel as required.
• Leadership experience preferred.
• CDL is a plus but not required.

Responsibilities

• Manage personnel safely by providing on-site direction for daily activities.
• Plan, troubleshoot, and schedule daily work assignments and priorities.
• Prepare logs, time tickets, and safety/inspection documents.
• Read blueprints and other construction drawings; coordinate with engineers.
• Attend meetings and conduct on-site inspections and safety meetings.
• Operate and oversee equipment use; ensure proper maintenance.
• Locate utilities and protect buried lines before digging.
• Ensure site clean-up and safe work practices at end of shifts.
