Job summary

Soundryx, Inc. in Los Angeles, CA is seeking a Founding Forward-Deployed Engineer for Spanish Markets to act as the technical face of the company in Latin America and Spain.

This role requires traveling to Spanish-speaking countries to present and demonstrate our acoustic sensing platform to major clients. You will translate customer needs into English specifications for the engineering team, create Spanish documentation and training materials, and support pilots.

Qualifications

• Native or fluent Spanish
• Programming foundation in Python/JS/C/C++/Go/Rust or similar
• Solid physics concepts in electromagnetism, waves, acoustics
• Comfort with linear algebra and differential equations, signal processing theory
• Customer-facing experience in technical sales/solutions/field engineering
• Nice-to-have LATAM/spanish markets or defense/critical infra experience

Responsibilities

• Travel to Spanish-speaking countries to meet with major private infrastructure firms and government agencies, delivering technical presentations and demonstrations.
• Bridge customer requirements in Spanish and translate them into clear English specifications for the engineering team.
• Write Spanish technical collateral, user manuals, and training materials for operators.
• Answer deep technical questions about acoustic sensing and deployment scenarios in real time during customer engagements.
• Gather field insights and customer pain points, and work with product/engineering to prioritize features.
• Assist with pilot installations, training customer teams, and troubleshooting in the field
