Job summary

McNaughton McKay Group is seeking a Product Data Specialist to oversee the PIM platform (Stibo STEP) and data pipelines, partnering with the Product Data Manager to optimize workflows and ensure data quality across ERP and ecommerce channels.

You will maintain runbooks and documentation, triage data issues, and support platform initiatives, with emphasis on accuracy, process improvement, and cross-functional collaboration.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a related field with 3–5 years in data operations, analytics, or related discipline; equivalence considered.
• Proficiency in Alteryx Designer for building and validating data workflows; strong scheduling and validation skills.
• Experience in a PIM/MDM platform; familiarity with Stibo STEP is a strong plus.
• Solid SQL skills for reading, writing, and troubleshooting queries and validating pipeline outputs.
• Understanding of programming concepts in Java and JavaScript; scripting for platform configuration and integration troubleshooting.
• Awareness of how master data relates to sales, purchasing, and ecommerce reporting.
• Interest in AI-powered tools to improve data workflows and problem-solving; willingness to adopt new tech.
• Proficiency in Excel for data review and validation; familiarity with AI-assisted tools is a plus.
• Attention to detail; ability to identify data anomalies in large datasets; strong documentation habits.

Responsibilities

• Monitor PIM and Alteryx workflow outputs to identify anomalies and data quality issues.
• Maintain documentation and version control for automation library and runbooks.
• Coordinate rollout of platform initiatives, including testing and validation with external integrator.
• Triage service desk tickets related to PIM data and ERP attributes; resolve or escalate.
• Perform data quality tasks: enrichment review, classification gap identification, remediation flagging.
• Assist taxonomy maintenance and attribute schema updates per direction.
• Support onboarding of new product data into the PIM platform with mapping and validation.
• Document data standards with cross-functional teams and support process improvements.
• Test applications during STEP upgrades and ongoing development initiatives.
