Client Overview
Our client is a globally recognized leader in the chemical manufacturing industry. Their team is now looking for a Pilot Plant Technician.
Salary/Hourly Rate
$22/hr
Position Overview
The Pilot Plant Technician will be a very hands on role and good experience to learn about the production process in a highly regulated GMP environment. This Pilot Plant Technician role has an opening for 2nd shift (3p-11pm).
Responsibilities Of The Pilot Plant Technician
- Be part of a highly regulated production team and be able to perform job duties independently once trained.
- Use various machines and equipment to contribute to the production process including: forklift, drum lifts, pallet jacks, stages.
- Utilize the computer/software system in house to process and execute tasks.
- Use robots and machines to move heavy drums and containers.
- Transfer materials or samples from one vessel to another.
- Cycle counting and inventory checks as needed.
- Reviewing or updating related paperwork and documentation.
Required Experience/Skills for the Pilot Plant Technician:
- Comfortable in operating a hand truck and pallet jack.
- Able to follow safety protocol, handle hazardous materials and adhere to regulatory guidelines.
- Able to use basic computer systems, knowledge of SAP a plus.
- Able to move heavy objects including but not limited to 55 gallon drums, but heavy lifting will be kept to a minimum as much as possible for safety reasons.
- Work in the US for any employer and pass a medical/physical pre-employment screening.
- Provide professional references of previous employers.
- Personable and professional communication skills.

- General Educational Development (GED).
