Job summary

Life Time Inc. in Centreville, VA is seeking a Pilates Instructor to support members by delivering personalized and group Pilates programs, building relationships, and upholding Life Time brand standards.

You will design safe, effective Pilates experiences, conduct consultations, promote programs, and handle administrative tasks while maintaining the studio and staying current with certifications.

Qualifications

• Experience in Pilates program design.
• Ability to sit, stand, walk, reach, climb, kneel and lift up to 50 pounds.
• 1 year of personal training experience.
• 6 months of experience in adjusting body alignment, Reformer, Cadillac, Chair, and Barrel equipment.
• Certified Pilates Trainer.
• CPR and AED Certification.
• College degree in Kinesiology, Sports Medicine or related field (preferred).

Responsibilities

• Develops safe, professional, and comprehensive client programs that drive client goal achievement and retention
• Instructs both private and group Pilates classes
• Monitors and instructs clients during Pilates training sessions on the safe and effective use the equipment
• Conducts fitness consultations for new clients including pre-participation screening and goal setting to assess and recommend Pilates training programs
• Promotes and sells Pilates training programs and classes, Group Fitness classes and Personal Training to members
• Completes all administrative requirements associated with each client’s fitness plan
• Maintains the cleanliness of the Pilates studio
• Remains current on certifications and new trends in the industry
• Educates members on current health and fitness issues and trends
