Job summary

Life Time in Parsippany-Troy Hills, NJ seeks a dynamic Pilates Instructor to design safe, effective programs and lead both private and group sessions. You will assess clients, set goals, and promote a range of fitness offerings while maintaining a spotless studio and staying current with industry trends.

Required: Pilates certification, CPR/AED, and at least 1 year of personal training experience; HS diploma or GED. This role emphasizes client education and excellent service.

Qualifications

• Experience in Pilates program design.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for extended periods.
• High school diploma or GED required; professional Pilates certification.
• CPR/AED certification completed; training in equipment use.
• Experience with private and group Pilates sessions are preferred.

Responsibilities

• Develops safe, professional client programs to drive goal achievement.
• Instructs private and group Pilates classes.
• Monitors clients during training sessions on equipment use.
• Conducts fitness consultations, including pre-participation screening and goal setting.
• Promotes and sells Pilates, Group Fitness, and Personal Training to members.
• Completes all admin tasks for each client's fitness plan and maintains studio cleanliness.
• Keeps certifications current and informs members about health trends.
